Fishcraft Tackle Co. was founded in 2006 by Captain Cris Howell, a Jacksonville, FL native and avid fisherman with more than 25 years’ experience fishing the inshore and offshore waters of the state of Florida.

After growing tired of fishing poorly made and inferior products, Captain Cris embarked on the journey of creating his own custom line of jigs that would enhance the realistic appearance of his baits without sacrificing quality, durability and attention to detail. What started as a fun hobby of making jigs and lures for him and his friends has quickly turned into a passion of helping others with their quest to land the catch their of a lifetime!
